Great local upscale restaurant. I've visited for their brunch and dinner. The menu wasn't overly complicated which made it easy to pick a few items and share. Servings are very generous. They have some very fun and tasty cocktails which make it hard to choose just one. The wait staff were friendly and made great recommendations. Glad to have this type of eatery so close. Definitely a place I'd recommend and eat at more than once. A new go to for all kinds of celebrations of just great food and atmosphere.

Had dinner with my wife, daughter and her fiance. I had the steak frites, which was excellent! My wife had the pasta, which she loved. My daughter had the mussels in a curry sauce that were excellent, and her fiance had the roast salmon that he said was delicious. Service was great, and parking was plentiful. Yet another great restaurant in Alameda - who knew?

This spot is very hidden from the outside with lots of parking. I brought my girlfriend here for our date. I made reservations through there website. You can pick bar or patio seating. We sat by the bar. We were greeted by our bartender and started with our drinks. We then ordered the focaccia bread as our appetizer. For mains, we ordered the beef Wellington and fresh pasta then finished our night with a tiramisu. Everything went well, no complaints. Very modern on the inside. Food and drinks were good.

The food was delish but the service was inconsistent. We were served by multiple ppl but were told Emily would be our services throughout the night we have saw her twice. The food was very well done. We got the burrata, the Caesar, the special anchovy toast, the cast iron chicken, branzino, and the fresh pasta carbonara with the shoe string potatoes and the Brussels sprouts. For dessert, we got the chocolate bar. All in all a great meal for a fair price. Would be back if in the area as it’s one of the nicer restaurants in Alameda

3rd time at Saltbreaker and it never disappoints. Everything was delicious, but I highly recommend the steak frites, hamachi crudo, smoked trout dip, beef carpaccio, house made focaccia with garlic butter, and lemon tart! Menu changes a bit but updated regularly on the website The space is modern, clean, and cozy with beautiful decor. It's great for a date night or a nice dinner with friends and family!

Everything was amazing 🤩 before ordering they asked if we had any allergies, I love that. We ordered the duck and steak, food came out fast and was so flavorful! Food and service was amazing, thanks Kevin! Well priced with decent portions. Our first time and we'll definitely be back.

The cold whipping wind threatened to derail our outdoor dining experience, but thankfully, we live in Alameda and we knew to bring jackets. With that out of the way, we proceeded to enjoy a leisurely 2 hour dinner where every dish was expertly prepared and plated. The staff were attentive and checked in on us periodically. We enjoyed the caesar salad with boquerones, the octopus and bay shrimp ceviche with leche de tigre, the duck confit and the the shoestring potatoes. We finished off the meal with a small citron tarte and some coffee. Would recommend without reservation, but a reservation might get you seated indoors. :)

The service was amazing from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were delightfully boozy and well-crafted, making them the perfect complement to the meal. Dessert was especially memorable, with multiple layers and components that came together in a unique and interesting way. My only regret is not calling ahead for a reservation on a Friday night, as the restaurant was understandably busy. I'll definitely be planning ahead next time because I will absolutely be coming back!

Been to Alameda so times I don't know why I haven't been here! However now that I know about this wonderful spot I'll be coming here time and time again. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious, fresh and flaky cod with bay fries were top notch! The bay fries with its garlic oil, parmesan cheese, old bay, parsley were a punch full of flavor and pairee great with the fish. The drinks were great and refreshing, perfect for the weather. We got the "Life is Peachy" and the "Limoncello Spritz," which were both very good, but the favorite was the Limoncello with its fresh, cold and refreshing taste. The venue itself it cute with lots of greenery and even games like corn holes that can be played. I also thought it was very considerate of restaurant to include little green blankets for its customers since the wind can be a bit cold. The staff is super cool and accommodating. You can order food and drinks at the register or at the table by scanning the posted QR code. We had a great time at this place and will definitely be back at Saltbreaker the next time we are in town.
